Susan Elizabeth Mann is a writer and librarian who lives in the heart of the Ozarks with four cats of indeterminate origin and a handsome man who is not her husband. Before she started pushing books to the underaged she taught English and worked as a theatre technician, most notably in New York City. Susan loves the time she gets to spend reading, writing, and talking about books and is unapologetically devoted to getting the right books into the hands of readers. She is not, however, very careful with her own books. She reads while she eats and tends to leave oily fingerprints in the margins. The librarian in her disapproves of this, but the rebel reader within her can’t be bothered.

Susan writes books. The kinds of books that she hopes one day will be dogeared and puffy from being read in the bathtub. And don’t worry. Her books have happy endings. Because they do. We need more happy endings in this world.
